The petitioner, a retired employee claims that he is entitled for grant of benefit of Assured Career Progress on his completion of 12 years and 24 years of the service period.

We find that the petitioner's representation, though submitted, but the same has not been decided as yet.

In the circumstances, we dispose of this petition by directing the competent authority of the respondents to examine the said representation and take appropriate decision on it as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In case it is found that the petitioner is entitled for the benefits, the same be extended in favour of the petitioner within the said period of three months.
