The petitioner is awaiting decision of the Scrutiny Committee regarding his caste claim and for failure to produce it is apprehending termination.

The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the Committee would decide the petitioner's proposal within six months. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's proposal, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six months.

4.

The petitioner shall not be terminated from employment for a period of six months.
