In all these matters, the petitioners claim to be elected representatives and pray for an early decision on their claims for validity since they have been protected by the State from disqualification till 17.01.2023.

The learned AGP submits that the Committee has already called upon these petitioners to produce proof of having been elected so that the pending cases of the elected representatives could be expedited in comparison to those candidates, who have not been elected. All these petitioners have expressed to the Committee that they are elected representatives.

In view of the above, all these petitions are disposed off with the following directions :- [a] Those petitioners, who are elected, shall tender such proof to the Committee on or before 05.08.2022. They shall not seek extension of time.
[b] If such proof is not tendered, there shall be no time bound programme for deciding the pending claims of such petitioners. [c] Those petitioners who have tendered evidence of having been elected, would be covered by the time bound programme being ordered by us hereunder :- {i} The Vigilance Committee Enquiry would be concluded by 10.10.2022 and copy of the vigilance report would be delivered to the petitioners on or before 21.10.2022.
- 3 - {ii} The petitioner shall then appear before the Committee on 10.11.2022 and submit their written explanation / written submissions. {iii} The Committee would endeavour to deliver orders in these matters on or before 30.12.2022.

The petitioners, in response to the request of the Committee, submit that they would tender their online proposals, keeping in view that the proposals were earlier submitted offline, within 3 weeks from today and the Committee would proceed with the time bound programme as directed above without delaying the proceedings in anticipation of submission of online proposals.
