In FA/979/2002, the learned AGP submits that the appeal relates to Land Acquisition Reference No. 354/1993. In this case, the Special Land Acquisition Officer has granted compensation of Rs.5,720/- for the entire acquired land, which was enhanced by the Reference Court to Rs. 20,280/-.

In FA/891/2002, the learned AGP submits that the appeal relates to LAR No.355/1993. In this case, the Special Land Acquisition Officer has granted compensation of Rs.4,192/- for the entire acquired land, which is enhanced by the Reference Court to Rs.29,663/-. Page 1 of

Since the amount enhanced in both appeals is meager, this Court will not entertain the first appeal. Accordingly, the first appeals stand dismissed. Pending civil applications stand disposed of. 4.

It is clarified that the dismissal of the first appeals is not on the merits and would not apply to the appeals in which compensation granted, is of large amounts.
