Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Counsel for respondents.
Learned Counsel for the petitioners has tendered across the bar copy of Government Resolution करमाक :
नामपा २०१५/पर.कर.३५/निवdated 16th June, 2015
issued by the Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, Mantralaya, Mumbai wherein, the cases of the persons who were appointed on daily wages during the period from 1985-87, have been considered by the Government of Maharashtra. Nagpur Municipal Corporation sent proposal of daily wager employees to the Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra and the said department has issued the aforementioned resolution. The learned Counsel for the petitioners seek directions to respondent No.1 to take appropriate decision keeping in view the aforementioned Government Resolution.
Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents - Municipal Council, Partur and Municipal Corporation, Parbhani jointly submit that already proposals with recommendation to regularize services of the petitioners have been sent to respondent No.1.
In the light of above, we direct respondent Nos.1 and 2 to take decision on the proposals forwarded by the respondents - municipal council / municipal corporation, keeping in view the criteria
applied and the Government Resolution mentioned herein above, even in cases of the petitioners and take a decision, as expeditiously as possible; however, within four months from today.
All the petitions stand disposed of on above terms.
