PER COURT :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

The learned counsel appearing for Respondent No.4, relying upon the averments made in the affidavit in reply, submits that, the petitioners are not entitled for the post of Extension Officer (Education). In response to the arguments of the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No.4, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that, no specific order is passed by the Respondent no.4 and the representations/applications dated 30th April, 2014 and 25th April, 2014 are kept pending. It is only by way of filing affidavit in reply Respondent No.4 is contending that, the petitioners are not entitled for the

4232.14WP appointment on the said posts. There is no specific order passed by Respondent No.4, so as to assail the same on merits. Therefore, he submits that, the Respondent No.4 may be directed to take appropriate decision on the above referred representations/applications.

In the light of the submissions made across Bar, Respondent No.4 is directed to decide the representations/ applications dated 30th April, 2014 and 25th April, 2014 filed by the petitioners, on its merits, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within four months from today. Needless to observe that, in case, Respondent No.4 feels it necessary to hear the petitioners, he will be at liberty to do so.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly.

In view of disposal of Petition itself, nothing survives for consideration in Civil Application No. 3182 of 2015 and same stands disposed of.

The parties to act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
