We have heard Mr. Ghute, the learned advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Karlekar, the learned A. G. P. for respondent/State.

Affidavit is filed on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3. Para Nos. 5 and 6 of the affidavit reads thus :

"5.

I say and submit that,since many candidates have cleared TET with subjects other than their subjects at graduation, as a interim arrangement a decision has been taken to select candidates for teaching subjects

1 wp 5000.19 based on the subject of graduation and not on the basis of TET subjects, for stds. 6 to 8.

I say and submit that, policy for conducting TET on the basis of subject at graduation is under consideration of State Government."

It is stated that, the policy of conducting TET on the basis of subject of graduation is under consideration of the State Government.

The State Government may endeavour to take decision expeditiously. With these observations writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
