Learned Counsel for the petitioner presses only prayer clause (C) of the petition, at this stage and prays for an order/direction against the Authorities to decide the representations submitted by the petitioner association in tune with the order passed by the State Common Entrance Test, dated 22.3.2019 and by the President, Admission Regulating Authority, dated 28.5.2019, within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order.

Mr. Yawalkar, learned A.G.P. states that the representations can be decided by respondent no.1, i.e. Principal Secretary of the Higher and Technical Education, Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, within a period of fifteen days from the date of communication of this order. The statement is accepted.

In view of the statement made by the learned A.G.P., we direct respondent no.1 to decide the representations made by the petitioner within a period of fifteen days from the date of communication of this order. The order that would be passed by respondent no.1 be communicated to the petitioner within a week. If the representations of the petitioner are accepted, the relief sought in the petition shall be granted within two weeks thereafter. If the order is adverse against the petitioner, the petitioner would be at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

This Court has not expressed on merits of the representations made by the petitioner. All contentions of the parties are kept open.

Writ Petition is disposed of in above terms. No order as to costs.
