The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was issued with the tribe certificate of "Koli Mahadev" Scheduled Tribe by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Osmanabad. However, spelling of the word "Mahadev" was wrongly spelt in the said certificate. The petitioner has applied for issuing correct tribe certificate, but the same is not issued.

The petitioner shall surrender the original tribe certificate issued to him by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Osmanabad with incorrect spelling with the concerned Sub Divisional Officer. The Sub Divisional Officer shall confirm the genuineness of issuance of the tribe certificate

2 89- wp 5406-2020.odt to the petitioner and upon being satisfied that the tribe certificate surrendered by the petitioner is issued by the office of the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Osmanabad, shall issue the correct tribe certificate to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be done within a period of four (04) weeks from today.

Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
