The petitioner has put forth prayer clause 'B' as under :- B) By issuing appropriate writ or order the proposal dated 01/01/2022 submitted on 08/02/2022 to the Res No. 2 may kindly be directed to decide within specific period with direction to grant on the benefits including the arrears of salary and directed to pay regular salary which is permissible.

We have gone through the petition paper book with the assistance of the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned AGP appearing on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 2. 3.

We are of the view that, as the proposal is pending with respondent no. 2, it would be appropriate to direct the said authority to decide the proposal within a time frame.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off, with a direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the pending proposal dated

WP No. 6473/22 1.1.2022, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 15th September, 2022. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.
