ORDER :

When this Court expressed that this Court is not inclined to grant relief, the learned counsels for applicants in all four proceedings, on instruction, submit that they want to withdraw the proceedings. Disposed of as withdrawn. 2.

Though the applications are disposed of as withdrawn, in view of the circumstances which are there in police papers, it is desirable that the concern District Superintendent of Police should personally look in to the matter. When many persons from the side of the applicants had gathered at the police station and they were virtually waiting for Ravindra and Ravindra was brought to the police station on that

night, ordinarily police would not have allowed Ravindra to leave the police station alone. Many persons were waiting for him and there was always possibility that they were to take Ravindra in custody to teach him lesson. There is statement of one Sopan Sonawane, who had seen one van first proceeding towards the police station and then leaving police station and then some motorcycles following that van. These circumstances need thorough investigation, but by independent agency and not by any officer of the same police station, who were involved in the aforesaid matter.
