ORDER :- 1.

Present petition can be disposed of as the main prayer is in respect of giving direction to respondent No.2 Committee to take final decision on the caste claim of the petitioner. 2.

Learned AGP waives notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and on instructions, he makes a statement that the Committee would decide the claim of the petitioner within a period of two months. Learned Advocate for the petitioner then by apprehending that action would be taken in pursuant to letter dated 27.03.2024 seeks protection. 3.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given reply to respondent No.3 on 30.03.2024. [1]

In view of the statement made by the learned AGP, the writ petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to decide the claim of the petitioner within a period of two months from today. 5.

We hope and trust that in view of the reply given by the petitioner to respondent No.3 and by virtue of this order, respondent No.3 will not take any action against the petitioner till disposal of the claim of the petitioner by respondent No.2.
