ORAL ORDER :

Heard Mr. Joydeep Chatterji, learned counsel holding for Mr. Satej S. Jadhav, learned counsel for the applicant. It is stated that, the applicant has been convicted under Sections 498-A and Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. He was on bail in the trial Court and never misused the liberty granted to him. As such, the request is made to grant bail during the pendency of

the appeal also.

Heard A.P.P. also. Perused record. Looking to the offence for which the appellant - accused was tried and has been convicted, and the fact that the appeal may take time for being decided and considering the aspect that no earlier conviction or criminal case is pointed out and it relates to matrimonial matter, bail needs to be granted to the appellant - accused. 3.

For above reasons, the following order is passed :

O R D E R

Pending decision of the Criminal Appeal No.275/2016, the sentence of imprisonment only, as passed against the applicant - accused is suspended and he shall be released on bail. The applicant shall submit P.R.B. and S.B. of Rs.20,000/- in the trial Court. At the time of releasing the applicant - accused on bail, the trial Court shall add condition of accused marking presence in the trial Court every three months, till disposal of the Criminal Appeal. Trial Court shall yearly send report in January of marking presence by accused in this regard to this Court till

disposal of appeal.

The applicant - accused shall appear before the trial Court on 4th May 2016 for compliance of these directions and the trial Court shall send report of compliance.
