Admittedly, the Petitioner is an erstwhile owner of the land, which he sold after publication of the preliminary notification under Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The learned AGP submits that sub-section (4) of Section 11 prohibits any transaction of the land specified in the preliminary notification.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner would withdraw this petition and the subsequent purchaser may take recourse to the remedies as may be permissible in law.

In view of the above statements, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
