Respondent No.3 has filed affidavit in reply, wherein in para 6, it is stated that considering the provisions of the new Land Acquisition Act, 2013, the compensation will be paid to the
4705.16WP petitioners will have to be re-calculated by considering the amount already paid earlier.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that in view of the statement made in the affidavit in reply, more particularly in para 6, the purpose of filing this Petition is served. We hope and expect that Respondent No.3 will adhere to the time limit stipulated in the relevant Act for payment of compensation, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within six months from today. The W.P. stands disposed of.
