Learned AGP waives service of notice for the respondents State.

Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith.

In this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks an order of direction against the respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee to decide tribe claim filed by the petitioner which is pending for quite some time.

4.

Respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee is directed to consider the tribe claim of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law within four weeks from today.

5.

The petitioner is directed to remain present before respondent No.2 Committee on 9th May, 2022 at 11.00 a.m.

6.

The order that will be passed by the respondent No.2 Committee shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week form the date of passing the order.

7.

If the tribe claim of the petitioner is accepted, the tribe validity certificate shall be issued to the petitioner within one week from the date of passing order.

8.

If the tribe claims of the petitioner is rejected, the petitioner would be at liberty to file appropriate proceedings. 9.

The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 10.

Rule is made absolute accordingly.
