Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and in the light of the prayer made in the petition, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No. 1 to decide the stay application/appeal of the petitioner on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of one (01) month from the date of production of copy of this order before the respondent No. 1.
