The petitioner is a 42 years aged widow whose husband passed away while in employment on 12.07.2018. The petitioner has been included in the list of eligible candidates for compassionate appointment and is at Sr.No.28 The candidate at Sr.No.26 in such list is a minor and, hence, he is yet to be appointed. The candidate at Sr.No.20 is 45+ and, hence, not appointed. All other enlisted candidates are appointed and it would now be the turn of the candidate at Sr.No.26 namely Sooraj Sunil Bhavsar to be followed by the petitioner, who is at Sr.No.28.

In view of the above, we find that the petitioner is in queue for such appointment. The writ of mandamus is not required when all the candidates in the list, barring the 3 mentioned above, have been appointed 3.
As such, this petition is disposed off.
