The sports certificate issued to the petitioner is invalidated basically on the ground that the sport which the petitioner plays is not included in the Government Resolution dated 01.07.2016. 2.

Petitioner has played throw ball in the Inter School State Level Tournament conducted by the Department of Sports. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled to benefits of clause 7 of the Government Resolution dated 01.07.2016. It is further submitted that the petitioner had preferred appeal and the same is also dismissed. 3.

The sport Throw Ball is not included in the recognised sports in the Government Resolution dated 01.07.2016. Petitioner was seeking selection for the various posts of Municipal Council pursuant to the advertisement dated 17.12.2017. The Government

{2} wp12230.19.odt Resolution dated 01.07.2016 more particularly, Clause 13 states that the Government Resolution would be applicable for all the selections to be made after one month of the said Government Resolution.

As the sport Throw Ball is not included in the Government Resolution dated 01.07.2016, no fault can be found with the impugned order.
