The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given representation/application to the Education Officer seeking condonation of break in service for the period 12.06.1989 to 06.09.1995. The application is given on 16.08.2016. However, no decision is taken upon it as yet.

In case the application is filed by the petitioner with the Education Officer seeking condonation of break in service and if the said application is pending, then the Education Officer shall take decision upon it on its own

61WP-5756-17 (2) merits in accordance with law after hearing the parties concerned expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
