The learned Advocate for the Petitioner fairly submits that after this Petition was filed for challenging the enquiry and the dismissal order, the Petitioner has preferred a departmental appeal under Rule 49 of Maharashtra Gramin Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulations, 2010. He, therefore, prays that the Competent Committee be directed to decide the appeal expeditiously. 2.

The learned Advocate Mr. Shahane appearing on behalf of Respondent No.2, submits that the appeal is filed on 27th April, 2024. This matter is taken up today on 29th April, 2024. This appeal will have to be placed on the agenda before the Board, by following the due procedure laid down in law. It may take around 90 days to decide the 30.wp4450.24.odt

said appeal.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off expecting the Committee / Board to deal with the appeal of the Petitioner on its own merits, in any of the two approaching meetings of the Board, if there is sufficient time to include this appeal subject on its agenda or latest within 90 days.
