These applications have been filed by the original claimants for getting the delay of 1888 days condoned in filing first appeals. They intends to challenge the judgment and award passed by the learned reference Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the acquiring body as well as learned AGP strongly opposes the applications on the ground that whatever
1020-ca-7270-17 (group).doc reasons mentioned in the applications are not sufficient and reasonable to condone the delay.

Taking into consideration the fact that the claimants are an agriculturist, whose land has been acquired and since they are coming from rural area, liberal approach is taken and delay stands condoned. 4.
Civil Applications stand allowed and disposed of accordingly. 5.
It is clarified that the applicants will not be entitled to get interest for the period of 1888 days delay in case of success to their appeal. 6.
Registry to verify and register the first appeals and place them for further consideration on 07.11.2019.
