Heard learned counsel Shri. Deshmukh for the applicant and Shri. Badakh, learned APP for the respondent-State. During the course of hearing, learned Counsel Shri. Deshmukh submitted that trial has commenced. On instructions, he submits that examination-in-chief of the victim is over and cross-examination has started. In view of this, it is appropriate to direct the Trial Court to conclude the trial within a period of six months.

In this view of the matter, the application is disposed off as withdrawn.

Learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months from today.

Fees of the amicus curiae is quantified as Rs.5,000/-.
