Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by way of instant contempt petition, the grievance was raised that the proposals dated 06th February, 2020 and 20th March, 2023 for approval of the staffing pattern were not decided as per the directions of this Court vide order dated 24th April, 2023.

It is submitted by learned Addl.G.P. that the Government has already decided these proposal and thereafter the petitioner has submitted a fresh proposal dated 22nd July, 2024 in terms of new policy.

In view of the decision on the proposals dated 06th February, 2020 and 20th March, 2023, as referred in order dated 24th April, 2023, we are of the opinion that the grievance in the contempt petition does not survive. The fresh proposal dated 22nd July, 2024, submitted by the petitioner in accordance with the new policy, may be decided by the Government according to the policy which is applicable.
