We have gone through the contents of application. The name of the applicant is mentioned in the F.I.R. with specific role attributed to him. The applicant has raised the only ground for quashing of F.I.R. that the allegations made against him are false and bogus. As per the allegations made in the complaint, the applicant has not only assaulted the informant and caused him bleeding injuries on his person, but also tried to run his four wheeler vehicle over the person of the informant.

It is well settled the power of quashing of criminal proceeding should be exercised very sparingly and with circumspection and that too in a rarest of rare case; that the court will not be justified in

cran1087.21 -2embarking upon the inquiry as to the reliability or genuineness or otherwise of the allegations made in the F.I.R. or the complaint 4.
