Heard learned counsel for the applicants. We find that in the present case the FIR was registered on 12.02.2023 for the offences under Sections 143, 427, 448, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation was completed and charge-sheet was filed as far back as on 16.05.2023, before the Competent Court.

The investigation having been completed and the chargesheet having been filed more than two years ago, we do not find it necessary and appropriate to invoke our inherent powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to consider the present application for quashing of FIR and charge-sheet.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, liberty is reserved for the applicants to move an appropriate application for
