PER COURT:- 1.

The petitioners have put forth prayer Clause 'A' as under:

"A.

By issuing writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, this Hon'ble Court may kindly direct to Respondent No.1 to take the decision on the proposal/report submitted by the Respondent No.3 in respect of the changing the category of the agricultural land of the petitioners from occupancy Class-II to occupancy Class-I category Maharashtra Land Revenue (Conversion of Occupancy Class-II and Leasehold lands into Occupancy Class-I lands) Rules, 2019."

It is submitted that the Nazarana amount has already been deposited. The Tahsildar has already intimated the District Collector.

The learned AGP submits that the proceedings would be taken to its logical end within the time frame as this Court may direct.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We direct respondent no.2 to complete the said proceedings by following the due procedure laid down in law, within 60 days from today.
