Mr. Hon, senior counsel submits that the claim of the husband of the petitioner for freedom fighter pension is not yet decided by the High Power Committee. The directions were given to enquire regarding the genuineness of the documents submitted. The enquiry has been conducted and the report is submitted that the name of the petitioner appears in the jail register.

We have heard Mr. Pulkundwar, learned AGP.

Considering the fact that the matter is pending with respondent since long time, we direct the respondent authority to take final decision upon the freedom fighters pension claim of the husband of the petitioner preferably, within three months from today on its own merits.

Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of.
