Since the election programme has reached the advanced stage, it would be inappropriate to cause interference in the ongoing process of election in exercise of extra-ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

In view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of Shri Sant Sadguru Janardan Swami vs State of Maharashtra and others, reported in AIR 2001 SC 3982, no interference is warranted.
