Mr. Vibhute, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceedings is pending with the respondent No. 2 committee after correction in nomenclature. The same is pending since October 2018. The respondents have not considered the petitioner for promotion. 2.

If the petitioner is seeking benefit of promotion, the petitioner may approach the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal. In that case, all contentions are kept open. The committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 16.07.2019.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
