1] Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2] Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith and the petition is taken up for final disposal with the consent of learned counsel for the parties.

3] Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in need of validity certificate for the

WP 5130/15 - 2 - purpose of LPG dealership. According to the learned counsel, the respondent - committee is not accepting the proposal submitted by the petitioner for validation of his tribe claim as belonging to Thakur scheduled tribe. 4] Learned counsel for the respondent submits that if some need is shown, the committee accepts the proposal. 5] The petitioner has shown the need i.e. he requires the validity certificate for the purpose of LPG dealership.

6] Considering the above, the petitioner may submit the proposal seeking validation in respect of his tribe claim as belonging to Thakur scheduled tribe with the respondent - committee. On receipt of said proposal, the respondent - committee shall scrutinize said proposal in accordance with law and take decision on it considering all the relevant aspects of the matter.

7] Rule is accordingly made absolute with no order as to costs.
