Issue notice to the respondents. The learned AGP waives notice for both the respondents.

The application is condonation of delay of 1610 days in filing first appeal against the impugned award dated 19.08.2014 in L.A.R. No. 249/2010. The delay appears to be caused since the advocate on record of the applicants did not intimate about the course to be taken for challenging the award.

The learned AGP strongly objected for condoning the delay which appears inordinate. However considering the statutory rights of the applicants and for the reasons stated in the application, the delay of 1610 days stands condoned subject to condition that the applicants cannot claim any interest for the aforesaid delay period. The application is accordingly allowed and disposed of.

The appeal be placed for admission after removal of ofce objections.
