Perused the written communication received from the learned Sessions Judge, Nanded seeking extension of six months time to dispose of Sessions Case No.134 of 2018.

Heard Mr. A. B. Chate, learned APP for the respondent/State. Mr. Satej Jadhav, learned counsel for applicant remained absent when the matter is called out.

On going through the written communication received from the learned Sessions Judge, Nanded, it is noticed that the learned Sessions Judge has examined five witnesses. The trial is in progress. Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, physical hearing of the Court was obstructed. As such, the learned Sessions Judge could not dispose of the sessions case within stipulated time.

901 ba.824.20.odt Having regard to the progress shown by the learned Sessions Judge and considering the genuine difficulty, it is necessary to extend six months period to dispose of the sessions case as requested by the learned Sessions Judge. Hence, the following order is passed:

O R D E R

I.

The period of six months is hereby extended to dispose of Sessions Case No.134 of 2018.

II.

The Registry to communicate this order to the learned Sessions Judge, Nanded for information and compliance.
