1] The applicant / appellant has moved this application seeking extension of time to deposit the amount for the reasons set out in detail in the application.

2] On due consideration of the submissions advanced in the light of reasons assigned seeking extension of time, I am inclined to allow the application. In view of lockdown operating from the month of March, 2020, the Government and the Departments of the Government including the acquiring bodies have been facing difculties and, therefore, the request made seeking extension of time deserves to be granted. 3] Learned counsel for the applicant / appellant submits that the amount is received and he is ready with the cheque, which

CA 4774/20 in FA 740/19 - will be deposited within one week in this Court. 4] In view of above, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses [B] and [C].
