The learned A. G. P. accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 to

4. Mr. Bide, the learned counsel submits that, the petitioner has made representation/application to the Collector for leasing out the tank bed land. The land of the present petitioner has been acquired for the new tank and as such in view of Rule 21-A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code (Disposal of Government Lands) Rules 1971. The petitioner is entitled for the lease of the tank bed land.

The learned A. G. P. states that, the Collector would take decision on the same in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the respondent No. 2/Collector or such other authorized officer shall decide the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today.
