This is an application for suspension of sentence and granting bail to the applicant.

The learned counsel for applicant submitted that the applicant is convicted and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for six months and and fine of Rs.500/- by the judgment and order dated 5th January, 2017 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ghansawangi in Regular Criminal Case No.77 of 2013. Against which the applicant preferred Criminal Appeal No.21 of 2018 before the Sessions Court. The learned Additional Sessions Judge-1, Jalna dismissed the said criminal appeal and the impugned judgment of the Trial Court was upheld.

The applicant has deposited the fine amount.

Considering the fact that the applicant has roots in the society, he will not flee away from trial and he has deposited the fine amount, the criminal application deserves to be allowed. During pendency of the criminal revision application, the execution of sentence awarded to the applicant is suspended and the applicant be released on bail on executing P. R. bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety of the like amount. The bail bond shall be furnished before the Trial Court. The criminal application is disposed of.
