Mr. Dighe, learned advocate for respondent Nos. 2 and 3 points out that, the challenge in the petition was in respect of acceptance of nomination of respondent No. 1 for the election of the A.P.M.C. However, as per the election programme now the elections are over and results are also declared. New body has already taken charge. He submits that, in view of this fact, the petition has now become infructuous.

Considering that the election is already over, the petition needs to be disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy as available under the law. 4.
