The petitioner has preferred this application for permission to amend the petition for the reasons set out in the application.

Heard the learned counsel for applicant and the respondents.

Considering the submissions advanced and further taken note that the petition is yet to be admitted and by way of amendment the petitioner intends to challenge the orders passed by the Ombudsman during the pendency of the petition; I am of the view the amendment deserves to be allowed.

The application is allowed in terms of prayer clause

(2) 912 - CA 5267.2019 in WP. 2424.2019 'A'. Necessary amendment be carried out within one week from the date of this order. After carrying out the amendment, the amended copy of the petition be served to the counsel representing the respondents. The respondents will be at liberty to file additional affidavit-inreply after service of amended copy of the petition. 5.
