Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Asst. Government Pleader appearing for respondent nos.1 & 2 and the learned Counsel appearing for respondent no.3.

There is a consensus amongst the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the learned Asst. Government Pleader for respondent nos.1 & 2 and the learned Counsel for respondent no.3, that this petition can be disposed of by giving direction to respondent no.1 to consider and decide the proposal of the petitioner dated 28th December 2015, for continuation of affiliation / natural growth for B.Sc. Faculty for the academic year 2016-17, in accordance with the relevant procedure / Rules / policy, within a stipulated period.

In the light of above, respondent no.3 shall consider the said proposal in accordance with relevant rules / policy and if the petitioner's proposal is in accordance with rules, forward the
(3) W.P. No. 4880 of 2016 same to respondent no.1, within a period of two weeks from today. Upon receiving the proposal from respondent no.3, respondent no.1 shall take decision on the said proposal in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, however, within three weeks from the date of receipt of the proposal. 5.
With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
