Heard learned Counsels for both sides.

Petitioner is convicted in R.C.C. No. 641/2016 and handed over with maximum sentence of seven years imprisonment. He was arrested on 07.08.2016 and thus, he is behind bars almost for the period of 6 years and 11 months. Appeal filed by him is not heard and decided since 2021. The appeal has practically become infurctuous as almost entire sentence period is undergone. This Court finds no justification to detain him further. Hence, he be released forthwith initially on P.R. Bond and with condition of furnishing one surety in sum of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) in one month from release. Bail before trial Court.
