Present application has been filed for getting the delay of 1726 days condoned in filing First Appeal. Acquiring body intends to challenge the judgment and award passed by the Reference Court. Learned Advocate appearing for original claimants strongly objects to the application on the ground that the delay is huge and inordinate and has not been properly explained.

Taking into consideration the steps those have been taken as narrated in the application, it can be said to be the genuine efforts on the part of the acquiring body to seek permissions, sanctions etc. Under such circumstance, the delay stands condoned.
