The petitioners have putforth prayer clause (B), which reads as under :- "B] The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass necessary order and issue directions in the nature of a writ of mandamus or a writ in like nature and direct the respondent no.2 Divisional Commissioner to act upon the Government communication dated 22.10.2021 and complete the formalities such as calling the meeting of review committee and take decision of assignment of functional nature of works assigned to the post of Sectional Engineers to petitioners as they have reinstated long back." 02.

We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocates for the petitioners and respondent No.3 and the learned AGP on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2.

The learned Advocate for the petitioners relies upon a communication dated 24.05.2022 issued by the Dy. Secretary, State of Maharashtra addressed to the Dy. Commissioner (Establishment), the Divisional Commissioner's Office, Aurangabad. 04.

The learned AGP submits that the decision as regards convening of the review committee meeting and the decision as regards the assignment of functional nature of the works, would be taken by the end of August, 2022. 05.
