PER COURT:- 1.

Mr. Shinde, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Election Petition has been filed by the petitioner and the examination-in-chief has been filed by the petitioner. He further submits that the trial Court is liberal in granting adjournments to the respondents and the respondents are prolonging the matter. The trial Court may be directed to expedite the proceedings of Election Petition No. 2 of 2017, otherwise, the purpose of Election Petition would be frustrated.

In view of that the trial Court shall decide the election proceedings expeditiously and in spite of that the trial Court does not decide the same, then the petitioner may renew his request to this Court.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
