The Petitioners have put forth prayer clause (B) as under: "(A) The Respondent No. 1, State of Maharashtra and Respondent No.2 Collector Aurangabad may kindly be directed to pay the land acquisition compensation for the execution proceedings settled in Lok Adalat dated 13.07.2019 forthwith and for that purpose necessary orders may kindly be issued."

2. The learned AGP submits, on instructions from Respondent No.3/SDO, that within one week the proposals of the Petitioners would be forwarded for releasing the payment.

It is beyond debate that the amount as agreed upon in the LokAdalat, while settling the LAR proceedings, has to be paid within six months. If it is not paid, the Petitioners would be entitled for statutory interest. The Lok-Adalat settlement is dated 13.07.2019.

The Writ Petition is, therefore, disposed off with the direction to the Respondents to ensure that the amount, as agreed in the Lok-Adalat, along with statutory interest for non payment within six months, until it is paid, shall be cleared and paid to the Petitioners within sixty (60) days from today.
