We have heard Mrs. Kulkarni, the learned advocate for the petitioner, Mr. Kadethankar and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for respondents that, because of the Covid - 19 pandemic, the State of Maharashtra is at present not conducting any elections.

In view of that, we are not inclined to consider the petition on merits. It is made clear that, we have not considered any of the submissions of the petitioner on merits.

In case State of Maharashtra decides to hold elections by easing out the entire restrictions, liberty to the petitioner to

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
