Rule. Rule returnable forthwith. With the consent of the parties, taken up for final hearing.

The applicant had filed application for issuance of tribe certificate as belonging to "Thakur" Scheduled Tribe on 20.11.2014, the same is not yet decided. The learned Asstt. Govt. Pleader states that in case, the said application is pending, it would be decided on its own merits expeditiously.

Considering the above, we pass the following order :

a) The Respondent No.2 shall decide the application of the petitioner for issuance of Tribe certificate as belonging to "Thakur" Scheduled Tribe on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within three (3) months from today.

Rule accordingly made absolute in above terms. No costs.
