The caste claim of the petitioner is invalidated. We have heard Mr. Thorat, learned counsel for petitioner and the learned AGP.

The sale-deeds are relied in the judgment of the Committee. Mr. Thorat, learned counsel submits that the sellers shown in the said sale-deeds are paternal blood relative of the petitioner namely Ramchand Gangadhar Ramod. We are not going into the details of the same. It was not possible for this Court for the first time to verify the relationships. It appears that the petitioner was not confronted with the said documents and could not file his say to the same.

1046 wp.7635.21.odt In view of that, we are inclined to grant one more opportunity to the petitioner.

The judgment of the Committee is set aside.

The parties are relegated before the Committee. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 1st November, 2021 and file his say with regard to the documents in question i.e. various sale-deeds.

The Committee shall consider the same and take a fresh decision preferably by 12th November, 2021.

We have directed the Committee to take decision afresh by 12th November, 2021 as the the petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course and that the vigilance is already concluded.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
