We have heard Mr Kharosekar, learned Advocate for the petitioner at length.

The learned AGP submits that, the order of penalty is already passed and further submits that the petitioner has remedy of appeal. 3.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has an alternate remedy, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy. All contentions are kept open. 4.

In case, the petitioner files an appeal for release of the vehicle, the authority shall consider an appeal of the petitioner for release of the vehicle on its own merit, in accordance with law, expeditiously Gajanan

and preferably within one month.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. 6.

The authority naturally would consider all the grounds raised by the petitioner.
