Mr. Gawali, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed the revision before respondent No. 2 against their disqualification. Now the Presiding Officer is appointed to conduct the election for the post of Chairman and the voting is scheduled on 15/07/2021.

The learned AGP on instructions of respondent No. 2 submits that the petitioners are issued with letter on 22/06/2021 to remove the deficiencies in the revision and upon removal of deficiencies, the authority would take decision upon the revision of the petitioners and on stay petition.

The petitioners shall immediately remove the deficiencies latest by 28/06/2021. Considering the fact that the election is scheduled on 15/07/2021, the authority shall endeavor to decide the revision on its own merits in accordance with law on or before 14/07/2021.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
