DATE : 25th June, 2024 ORDER:
1.
In all these matters, the grievance of the Petitioners is that the benefits on account of acquisition were not extended to them, though they were extended to identically placed persons. The names of identically placed land losers are Sanjay Gorakh Bhadake, Dattatraya
906to909 Gorakh Bhadake, Nandabai Manik Ugale, Ganesh Manik Ugale, Laxmibai Karbhari Mete, Vimalgiri Maharaj Dattashram, Karbhari Gajanan Mete. The Petitioners pray that, being identically placed, they should also be granted identical benefits. They have tendered representations through an Advocate, dated 07.03.2022 and 28.03.2022 for putting forth such claims.
2.
In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are disposed off. We expect the District Collector, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar to consider the representations of the Petitioners in the light of the specific cases (names mentioned above) and if the Petitioners are identically placed, a decision be taken on the request for identical reliefs. If there are any legal impediments, the District Collector is at liberty to pass a reasoned order and convey the said order to each of the Petitioners. Let this exercise be completed within 60 days.
